The evolution of interior furnishing

Chiara, Jessica, Giulia, Michela, Elisabetta, Benedetta and Giulia are the seven women, who have turned “Casa Evolution” from a small company into a landmark in the furnishing industry in no time.

The story of this company is unbelievable and all to be told because it represents the true prototype of Venetian enterprise, made up of people who started from nothing to build up a top-notch company with great sacrifice. Perhaps it was all thanks to these “Seven Musketeers” and their typical female skills, but one thing is certain: it is a miracle.

Chiara Bettiol graduated in Interior Design in 1999, but her passion for homes and furniture dates back to when she was 11 and preferred specialized magazines over Barbie dolls. Immediately after graduation she started to happily work for several furniture factories until she realized that she had outgrown that job role and time had come to start her own business. So, she started to develop her business project together with her husband Andrea Battistin – former manager and collaborator of venues such as Mamamia, La Pace and Amami, with years of experience as sales manager as well.
“Everyone was telling us that we had gone crazy,” Chiara says, “but we didn’t listen to anyone and kept going our way. And so, on the very day we resigned, we walked past a property where there was a sign saying ‘For Rent’. We got curious and called the reference agency: once inside, where once there was a supermarket we saw 1,000 square meters of desert, full of rubble and without any partition wall.
Andrea was afraid, but I kept looking and could saw the final realization of my project, and so it was. We started from scratch and there were three of us, now there are ten of us and we went from a time when we were struggling to pay rent to the goal of reaching a turnover of 4 million euros in short time and opening a new store, maybe in Friuli where we have a great customer base”.

Most companies are looking for “experienced” staff, while there are many young women working for you. How do you explain it?

“The structure of our company is different. We don’t have just the sales or distribution network, we also have a technical department, a project office, an order office and a department dedicated to after-sales to offer a complete service. We love having interns in training and we hire the good ones”.

What’s your secret?

“We surround ourselves with trusted and reliable employees, we base our work on networking and relationships without forgetting the expertise, which is the foundation of all all the success, and we ensure a comprehensive, detailed service for what concerns the 110% bonus.”

What is your business concept?
